2017 Annual Fund Raisers
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Sempronius Fire Department is proud to provide our community with the highest level of Fire service, as well as our rescue and EMS. We staff all of our communities needs with 100% volunteers. With the support of our community, and our great group of volunteers, your Fire Department and its service to the community continues to grow. We have 2 fund raisers this year, and hope that you and your family would join us.
The first event is our annual truck and tractor pull: Saturday, August 26th on Pillips Road. Entry to the grounds starting at 10:00am, and the pull starts at Noon. There is a $5.00 per person charge at the gate for admission. along with the action out on the pulling track, we will have a full line of fantastic food available. Including, but not limited to; hamburgers, hot dogs, hot sausages, cold & hot drinks, ice cream and even a chicken BBQ. come join the fun and visit with your friends and neighbors. We will have bleacher seating, but feel free to bring your lawn chairs!!
Our 2nd fund raiser is our annual Outdoor Giveaway: Saturday, September 30th. There is a maximum of 400 tickets sold at a cost of $100.00. Along with the prizes we have a meal with live music following the drawing. The purchase of a ticket not only gives you the opportunity of winning these great prizes, but also gives you entry to (2) people into the event the day of our drawing.
If you can’t make the events, but would like to contribute to our fire department, you may mail a tax deductible contribution to our firehouse. As always, we are accepting applications for new members in all aspects of our volunteer organization and would very much appreciate any help you may be able to give.
In closing, we would like to thank you for your support, in the past as well as the future. With the support of our community we will be able to continue to provide quality Fire and EMS services when the need arises, night or day. Thank you for your time and we hope to see you at our events this year!!!
Respectfully, (Chief) Tyler Bloodgood and the members of our Department
